The Metamorphosis of Things…

For the last twelve years, we have been studying the different types of resins that exist, combining them with stained-glass mosaique. Since there are around 300 different types of resin. Believe me fellows, the experience learned has not been in vain! It took us a lot of work, and errors, to get to make all my materials work together in harmony.Since we never repeat an art piece , in our workshop , there is always a new , different project going on. So many times our art pieces, may take a bit of extra days for their experiments to work for us.

I also had to initialize a lot of exercises of sensibility with my two employees, so that they could connect themselves with their inner artist, and their sensibility. When these abilities began to flourish, our art pieces would make more sense to them, and they would take more life, and better finishings.

I have also been discovering how to give a new sense to objects that have been already created by man or nature. I have always shown much respect, and interest for Mother Nature and it things. So in many of my designs, you will definately see much nature worked in them.

In others, are just experimenting with new, modern materials…such as resins, glass fiber, and poliurethanes. It has been a lot of fun. Compared to the complicated method of painting with mosaiques, the abstract tables I ´m working on nowadays, is much more loose, more relaxed, and more expressive in the painting sense.

I needed to let go a bit that mosaique technique, for people have loved it much, but when you are an artist, you don´t want to end up doing the same thing over and over, for years!!!! There are so many ideas to work on, to bring to life…and I am proud of my own evolution in my art work, and that includes both my employees, who are my good friends, and respect and adore. I am thank our Father, the Lord, that in this life I had to work in art, and make it my life. I feel great and happy about all the new things that we are living in our new workshop , and the lovely energy, and environment we have created for us to work each day, in a better place. May art live forever !
