About Almarte
Maria Paula Holguin is a Colombian artist. Went to school at JORGE TADEO LOZANO COLLEGE,Bogota,and there she began to study Fine Arts.
Her constant need to express her ideas in art, led her to explore combinations between forms,textures and colours.
As a result,Almarte was born from the need and ingeniality of creating art. Art that is unique, beautiful and fun. Most important, it should be seen as Functional Art.
Actually our company has a twelve year experience in the global and local markets, giving our customers satisfaction and a touch of originality for each one of their needs.
Many of our abstract lamp shades and Spinning tables, are placed under order.The dedication and patience given to each of these pieces, is the result seen in the combination of art and love:art pieces.

Maria Paula HolguÃn is the creator of Almarte, and is also the Director of this small, but talented company.She does not work alone there. She has two co-workers who share her ideas, and help her make each piece come to life. It has become another small family.
