Vision

We are creating Heaven on Earth — a living, regenerative ecosystem and culture where land is restored, communities thrive, and life is lived in connection, purpose, and harmony with nature.

Mission

Our mission is to bring this vision into reality by building regenerative ecosystems that unite land, culture, and community through cacao, agroforestry, and conscious collaboration.
We create real-world spaces where people don’t just consume — but participate, co-create, and contribute to something meaningful.

Foundation Goals

  • 🌱 Land stewardship & ecosystem regeneration
  • 🌳 Agroforestry & reforestation
  • 🏡 Community & eco-village development
  • 🧠 Education & transformational spaces
  • 🍫 Cultural preservation of cacao traditions

Our Values

Community

Responsibility

Where actions shape the whole

Why Cacao

Cacao is the bridge between vision and reality

Through cacao, we finance regeneration, build community, and create real-world impact.

It is not just a product — it is the economic engine of our ecosystem.

Cacao connects people, supports the system, and allows the vision to exist in tangible form.

Explore our Cacao

"A paradigm shift doesn’t start with theory

— it starts with lived experience."

Why Now

Humanity is in an era of deep transition — old systems are failing, and more people are hungry for meaning, belonging, and real regeneration.

Almarte is a living experiment responding to that moment — not idealism, but practice in the real world.

Who we are

A contribution-based community.

Almarte is built for people who want to participate — not just observe.

We are creating a living ecosystem where contribution, responsibility, and shared purpose shape how we build, grow, and evolve together.

From cacao production to global distribution, events, and community building — this system is open to those who want to take part through real action.

Here, you don’t just consume — you contribute, co-create, and become part of something real.

What We’re Part Of

Part of a global movement towards regenerative living and new economic systems

Part of the Global Ecovillage Network

Almarte is part of the Global Ecovillage Network (GEN) — an international network of communities exploring regenerative living, ecological design, and new cultural and economic models.

Through GEN, we are connected to a global field of projects working on:

  • regenerative land stewardship & permaculture
  • community-based living systems
  • ecological and social innovation
  • new forms of economy and governance

Our project is listed as an emerging ecovillage initiative within this network.

This connection places Almarte within a wider movement that is actively building alternatives — beyond extractive systems, towards regenerative and post-capitalistic ways of living.

How We Make Decisions

A contribution-based governance model

Almarte is built on contribution — not passive ownership.

It explores a post-capitalistic approach, where value is not extracted, but created and shared within the system.

Those who actively contribute become part of the system and help shape its direction.

How decisions are made today

Decisions are currently guided by the Inner Circle, acting as an advisory board within the foundation.

Core contributors can join through a dedicated agreement aligned with the mission.

Each member has a voice, and decisions are shaped through dialogue, shared understanding, and mutual agreement.

How this will evolve

Over time, governance will expand beyond the Inner Circle.

Contributors within the system will be able to take part more directly in shaping decisions and direction.

Technical & Legal Structure

To support this evolution, the system is being developed on two levels:

  • A technical layer, planned on blockchain-based infrastructure
  • A legal layer, including a holding structure in a jurisdiction aligned with this governance approach

100%

Purpose-driven system

Value is not extracted
— it flows back into the system & the people who create it.

50% distributed within the system

→ to contributors who actively build and evolve it

Value Flow

As the system evolves, value is shared in a simple and transparent way:

50%  reinvested into the foundation

→ supporting land, ecosystem, & long-term mission

How we’re organized

Stewardship

Mission, land, and long-term direction

The foundation holds the mission, land, and long-term direction of the ecosystem.

It is the sole owner of the operating company, through which on-the-ground activities are carried out — including cacao production, land development, and ecosystem building in the Dominican Republic.

We are currently in the process of transferring and integrating the land into this structure to ensure long-term alignment with the foundation’s purpose.

System Design

Foundation, operations, and coordinated governance

The system operates through three interconnected layers:

Foundation (mission & stewardship)

Operating Company (cacao, land, events, distribution)

Inner Circle (strategy & coordination)

The Inner Circle currently holds decision-making responsibility within the foundation, ensuring alignment and coordinated development.

Future Model

Towards shared ownership and participatory governance

We are evolving towards a more open and participatory system structure.

In the future, governance will expand beyond the Inner Circle — enabling contributors and token holders to participate in shaping decisions and direction.

This includes the development of a token-based governance model inspired by decentralized systems.

Our Manifesto

This is not a brand — it is a system we are building in real life.

This project was born from a simple but radical question:

What if business, community, and nature were not in conflict — but in alignment?

Inspired by experiences in places like Tamera, we are exploring new ways of living, working, and relating.

We believe in a world where land is regenerated, people are connected, and value is created together — not extracted.

You don’t just consume here — you participate, co-create, and contribute to something real.

This is not an idea — it is already happening.

Framework & Guidelines of Almarte Foundation

🌿 Organisational Structure

As a non-profit organisation, our mission is to establish ecovillages and host transformative events that reconnect people with their inner selves, nature, and community living as a sustainable way of life. We operate without rigid hierarchies, structuring ourselves into fluid, self-organised departments that evolve organically based on collective interest and contribution.

🌿 Membership Levels

🔸 Full Members – Residents of the ecovillage or deeply engaged participants before its foundation.

🔸 Part Members – Supporters contributing through temporary work in various departments.

🔸 Guests – Short-term visitors experiencing ecovillage life.

🌿 Team Organisation

  • Departments form organically based on interest and need.
  • Team leaders may emerge naturally but can be replaced through group consensus.
  • New members require approval from existing team members before joining a department.
  • Every member decides their level of contribution and is entrusted with full responsibility in their role.

🌿 Key Departments (Established First)

✅ Administration, Finance & Legal – Managing operations, governance, and sustainability.

✅ Agriculture (Permaculture) – Creating food security through regenerative farming.

✅ Marketing & Website Management – Spreading the vision and engaging the global community.

✅ Event Program Co-Creation – Organising transformative gatherings, workshops, and retreats.

✅ Kitchen – Nourishing the community with sustainable, high-vibrational food.

🌿 Consent & Veto Rights

✅ Decisions require full consent from all members.

🌿 Community Meetings & Evolving Structure

🌀 All decisions are made during regular community meetings.

🌱 As the community grows to around 30 full members, we will evaluate which decisions can be made independently within specific departments, allowing for more fluid operations.

🌿 Communication & Emotional Culture

In our community, openness, trust, and emotional authenticity form the foundation of our communication. We believe that all emotions are real and valid—rather than judging them, we accept and express them openly.

🌿 Weekly Forum & Community Gatherings

🌀 Weekly Forum – A dedicated space where everyone is invited to share their emotions and experiences in a safe and respectful environment.

🕊 Additional Gatherings (2-5 times per week, 3-hour sessions):

🔸 Emotional Sharing & Deep Listening – Holding the forum to express, process, and support one another.

🔸 Collective Discussions & Decision-Making – Ensuring transparency and community alignment.

🔸 Unstructured Community Time – Dancing, singing, relaxing, and simply being together.

🌿 A Culture of Deep Connection

Through these practices, we cultivate deep listening, mutual respect, and emotional connection, ensuring that every voice is heard and valued. 🌿💛

🌿 Shared & Gift Economy as a Foundation

We operate on a shared and gift economy, supporting one another without direct compensation.

🔸 Community-based living: We grow food together and prepare meals in our shared kitchen.

🔸 Education & Services: Children attend our own kindergartens and schools, and members offer skills like massages, haircuts, and medical care.

🔸 Collective Ownership: All residents own the land together and live rent-free.

🔸 No monetary exchanges: Instead of transactions, we follow the principle:

💛 "Everyone takes what they need and gives what they can."

Our goal is to meet all needs while ensuring the community remains functional.

🌿 Commodity Economy as a Supplement

To cover unavoidable costs, we initially integrate a modified commodity economy, gradually reducing reliance on it over time. Inspired by Tamera, which funds itself ⅔ through a Gift Economy and ⅓ through commodity-based income.

💰 Expenses covered by the Commodity Economy:

✅ Loan repayments

✅ Health insurance

✅ Marketing & advertising costs

✅ Travel expenses for community members

✅ Purchase of external goods

🌱 Income Sources:

🔸 Sale of ceremonial cacao & farm products

🔸 Events, courses & workshops

🔸 Handcrafted jewelry, clothing & art

🔸 Services (counseling, massages, naturopathy, etc.)

🔸 Farm-grown food & "Field-to-Table" dining experiences

🔸 Public funding for reforestation, permaculture & agrotourism projects

🔸 Donations & loans from members & supporters

💛 Sliding-Scale Pricing:

Financially stronger participants help subsidize those with fewer resources, ensuring equal access for all.

🌿 Work & Compensation for Full Members

Standard Model: Work for the community, and the community covers all essential expenses.

⏳ Work Expectation:

Full members contribute 80-120 hours per month to community tasks. If roles remain unfilled, they are allocated through collective decision-making.

💰 Compensation Model:

✅ up to €500 monthly allowance (if funds allow).

✅ up to €500 per child per month (for children outside the community, up to age 25).

✅ Opportunity for travel grants for education (subject to approval).

✅ Right to live & build on community land.

✅ Three daily meals & access to shared spaces.

Alternative Model for Partially Self-Employed Members:

🔹 Those working 50% for the community while maintaining a self-employed job do not receive an allowance.

🔹 Those working less than 50% for the community contribute 10-30% of their income to support communal expenses.

🌿 Economic Relationship with Part Members

Part members receive:

🏕 A sleeping space (community tent, private tent pitch, or van parking).

🥗 Three daily meals & access to sanitary facilities.

🛠 A work contribution of 20-25 hours per week.

📚 4-6 hours of training per week  from full members in various skills.

🌿 Funding Structure & Community Funds

To finance long-term projects & individual needs, we establish dedicated community funds:

💰 Budget Fund – Covers daily operational costs.

🏗 Development Fund – Supports infrastructure & provides loans to members.

🌍 Humanitarian Fund – Supports education, health expenses & global aid projects.

💸 Fund Allocation & Decision-Making:
